KUALA LUMPUR, 03 Nov 2026 - Ikhlas Com Travel Sdn Bhd (ikhlas.com) is introducing its Zakat Advantage Programme (ZAP), a corporate partnership initiative designed to go beyond zakat collection by creating greater value for businesses through corporate rewards, employee welfare, networking opportunities and transparent zakat reporting.
Taking place at the Atrium, RedQ, Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2), the Scale & Impact Summit 2026 marks the next phase of ikhlas.com’s zakat initiatives, building on the previous Zakat Fest to foster stronger connections among Muslim entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and corporate leaders.
The summit will also feature a forum titled “Empowering the Generation; Building a Stronger Economy,” featuring Chief Executive Officer of ikhlas.com, Ikhlas Kamarudin and Tuan Azri Jemani, Founder of Keedsflix International Sdn Bhd. The session will explore the role of entrepreneurship, leadership, and economic empowerment in creating opportunities for the next generation and building a stronger economy.
Ikhlas said ZAP represents a broader approach to corporate zakat, where businesses can benefit from meaningful partnerships while contributing towards community development.
“ZAP goes beyond zakat payments. We want to build a larger community of corporate zakat contributors by offering companies more value through employee welfare, corporate rewards, business networking and opportunities for collaboration. Our aim is to make zakat more meaningful for businesses while ensuring that contributions create a positive impact on society,” he said.
Under ZAP, participating companies can benefit from several initiatives designed to provide added value to their organisations and employees. The Staff Waqalah Programme supports companies in providing assistance to their low-income employees, helping extend the benefits of zakat to those within their workforce who need it.
Meanwhile, Company Rewards offers participating organisations annual umrah, travel and lifestyle rewards, recognising their participation in the programme and providing added value to their corporate zakat contributions.
Through Barakah Series Reporting, companies will also receive social impact reporting through email and social media, highlighting their contributions and corporate social responsibility efforts. This allows organisations to communicate their involvement in community development while promoting greater transparency and awareness of their zakat contributions.
Beyond these offerings, ZAP aims to create opportunities for businesses to connect through networking events, knowledge-sharing sessions and exclusive invitations to private engagements, including VIP tea talks with Islamic scholars and high-net-worth individuals, as well as the upcoming Private Summit 2027.
These initiatives are designed to open doors for SMEs to engage with established business leaders, exchange business knowledge, build valuable connections and explore potential collaborations. Through a wider corporate network, ikhlas.com hopes to create opportunities for businesses to grow while encouraging more organisations to become part of the zakat community.
As part of its zakat reporting, ikhlas.com recorded a collection of approximately RM44.36 million in 2026, with 63 participating companies, compared to 42 companies in 2025. This reflects the growing participation of businesses in corporate zakat contributions.
