Capital A Berhad (“Capital A”) has completed its aviation business disposal (AirAsia Berhad and AirAsia Aviation Group Limited) to AirAsia X Berhad (“AAX”), as disclosed in its announcement to Bursa Malaysia dated 16 January, marking the final chapter of its six-year restructuring journey and the start of its next journey.

Capital A Berhad (“Capital A” or “the Group”) today provided an update on its ongoing corporate exercises, marking a pivotal moment after six years of restructuring and setting the stage for the next phase of growth.

Capital A Berhad (“Capital A” or “the Group”) wishes to clarify that Bursa Securities’ decision not to approve Capital A’s application for an extension of time to complete the implementation of the Distribution has no material impact on the Group’s ongoing corporate exercises. There is no change to the Group’s strategy. The only effect is a slight revision to the completion timeline.
