KUALA LUMPUR, 1 April 2026 - AirAsia MOVE (MOVE), the region’s leading travel platform, today announces a new partnership with rising Malaysian squash star, Erwin Kros. This collaboration marks the first milestone of MOVE’s ‘Rise Without Limits’ initiative, a campaign fueled by the company's belief in aspiring talent who dare to push beyond expectations, ensuring that nothing stands in the way of their potential.

2026 has already seen MOVE support Erwin’s travel, accommodation and gear, as he competed on international courts in Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, and Singapore.

Nadia Omer, CEO of AirAsia MOVE said, “Erwin represents the grit and 'dare to dream' spirit that defines us at MOVE. We believe that when aspiring athletes are given the right support, their dreams can go further than they ever imagined. We are incredibly proud to stand behind him as he takes Malaysian squash into its next great chapter.”

The timing is pivotal, as Malaysia looks to build upon the legendary legacy of icons like Datuk Nicol David when squash makes its historic Olympic debut in 2028. Erwin Kros is at the forefront of this resurgence in his category. Currently ranked No. 1 in Selangor and No. 20 in Asia (U19), he solidified his reputation as a formidable force in the junior circuit with his recent victory at the Sri Lanka Junior Open.

“I've given my life to this sport since I was six years old and my belief in what I can achieve has never been stronger. I grew up knowing that Malaysian athletes can compete with anyone in the world, and I carry that with me every time I step on the court. Having MOVE believe in my dream gives me the confidence to push harder, aim higher, go beyond my limits,” said 17-year-old Erwin.

“Every tournament is a chance to make Malaysia proud, and I will continue to dare to dream.”

As his season presses on, MOVE will also be supporting him at the 2nd Touch 'n Go SRAFTL International Junior Open Squash Championship 2026 in Kuala Lumpur from 1st to 5th April, and the Negeri Sembilan Junior Open 2026 from 7th to 11th April.

AirAsia MOVE has spent years making travel more accessible and affordable for millions, and now it is proud to do the same for the next generation of Malaysian champions.
